Enamel Pin Quality Guide
Please keep in mind that all enamel pins at Honey Gokko are handmade items, filled and polished individually, so no pin can ever be 100% the same as another and some flaws can occur! 😊
Honey Gokko's pins are near-perfect (some can be perfect, of course), but please take note while buying!
Also, all my pins are carefully inspected before I mail them out 👌
✿ Grade A
Examples of minor imperfections that pins can contain:
- Small light scratches, buff marks, scuffs on the metal/enamel
- Small specks, pores, or bubbles anywhere on the pin
- Slightly underfilled, overfilled or uneven areas
- Minor metal discolorations
- Larger metal scruffs on the back or the side (not the front) of the pin
✿ Grade B
Seconds pins have more noticeable flaws and are sold at a discount. Such flaws include:
- Obvious overflowing enamel fills
- Large smudges and/or staining
- Completely unfilled areas
- Heavy oxidization of the metal
- Noticeable and deep scratches that span across the metal & enamel
- Very low fills in larger or visually important areas
- Bent pin needle on the back that causes the clutch to clasp only half-way
✿ Grade A - B
The flaws are in between Grade A and Grade B, but really, that's just me being perfectionist and maybe you won't even see the flaw 😂
Actual product colours may vary from colours shown on your monitor.
The same applies for the enamel keychains.
I hope this guide is helping you make a more informed purchase! Happy shopping on Honey Gokko! 💕
